![]() Shame on Microsoft especially the one who created the patch to disable functionality of devices under old versions. Lesson When Microsoft starts announcing that they will stop supporting your Windows version at the same time while a new version has come out, you better save up to get the new OS version or suffer the same fate. Dirty, don't you think? Everything works under Windows 10. Whatever that patch is, it is aimed to make some devices to stop working and you'll have no choice but to get rid of Windows 7 and upgrade to Windows 10. The LWS software worked on it hence, the culprit. I have a laptop still running Windows 7 but its only difference from ASUS desktop is that its OS never applied Microsoft patches for a long time. This issue has been resolved by upgrading my OS to Windows 10.
